Cover a Fairy weakness

Fairy attacks hit Fighting, Dragon, Dark super effectively. If your team leans on those types, one Fairy move can take down several Pokémon at once.

What beats Fairy

Only Poison and Steel attacks are super effective against Fairy. Those are the two types to add if you need an answer.

What resists Fairy

These types take reduced damage from Fairy attacks, so they make safe switch-ins:

Best Steel Pokémon

Steel both resists Fairy and hits it super effectively, which is why it is the standard fix.

1. Metagross
2. Archaludon
3. Iron Crown
4. Celesteela
5. Kartana

Best Poison Pokémon

Poison hits Fairy super effectively and also resists Fairy attacks.

1. Nihilego
2. Iron Moth
3. Naganadel
4. Crobat
5. Venusaur
